About this event

Mount Pyrus is the joint project of Dublin based musicians Finn Smyth (Production & Keys) and Mabel Thew (Vocals & Guitar). The group formed out of the pair’s passion for music and shared interest in writing.

Combining elements from retro pop & indie jazz, the band aspires to create a unique blend of genres. Inspired by artists such as Mild High Club, Crumb & Men I Trust.

With a live sound consisting of soft vocals, warm keys, retro synth lines as well as driving drums & smooth bass, they’ve carved a unique space within the Irish music scene.
